My REA replaced my "safety" yard light with an LED unit. Whiter, brighter, no noise. The vapor light made lots of noise on start up. This one does not. 73 and Good Luck. Joe kk0sd ___________________

The frequency of every thing has gone up. You are no longer in band for any of electronics. Years ago my two meter rig heard and could reboot the ATM machine. Years later I heard the ATM on 440 MHz.

I was able to borrow a portable shortwave radio today, and we clearly determined the noise is from about a block over. I will build a loop for the radio tonight and take another whack at it tomorrow.
