That would seem adequate... I just run a piece of 4/0 wire around the baseboard and go up the back of each operating table with a piece just hose clamped to it then unwrap strands to go to the radio,

I would try small ceramic filter caps at the rotor connector. Just on the power leads at first, then maybe to the shell ground to see what combination stops the noise from getting out. David Robbins

Have you heard about running 'xp mode' on win7?? That lets you run a win-xp virtual machine inside win7 for those programs that the compatibility settings can't handle. It might be worth a try. David

Probably something arcing. Could be anything from a bad insulator on a power line to a light switch, neon sign, street light, or a fish tank heater. First eliminate your house, turn off every breaker
