There is more than one PLL in the Omni VI. The 5.0-5.5 MHz VFO is a PLL system. The "Band switching oscillators" are also PLL controlled. They are separate PLL systems, only the RF output of the two

It's not about worrying. It's about fully specifying the performance of the equipment. If no spec is given, and it had, say 2 dB loss, you wouldn't know if something is faulty, or if it is normal. _
