I have one on our meter, installed several years ago. Mine is the "slow" type, and doesn't need a van to drive by. The only meaningful writing on it says "TURTLE*" -- implying the slow data transmiss

Agreed with the comments on finding the noise yourself. It shouldn't have to be that way (IF it is a power pole), but that's reality. Generally, a decently-educated ham can do a better job of finding
