Fedex has special shipping charge for shipping between "manufacturer" and "customer". The charge quoted me was between resident to resident. Maybe I should become a "manufacturer or radio towers" ;).

Yes, it's a Rohn tower. Just for fun I asked DHL, as i already had them on the phone how much it would be and, yes, they asked for about $6 000. As it was resident-to-resident "it has do go by air".

That's not really what I meant. This is "just" a weight-down plate. My idea is to screw in some screw anchors. That would require a lot less weight as each screw can hold multiple of its own weight.
