Hi, Bill, You will need the 6700 to do so2r with one radio You cannot receive on the 6500 while transmitting. I made that mistake and bought the 6500. It was ok for awhile because I was single band.

They are still selling the 6700 Sent from Mail for Windows 10 Hi Bill, The 6500 is a discontinued model. It is replaced by the 6600. The 6600 will do SO2R in a single box and has the new preselectors
