- Bill, Having used both over the years with good audio reports for each, I would say you can't really go wrong with either. But all things considered I would lean to the 708 as it's current. 73, Denni

- The 705 is a good mike. I believe they now have a 706 which looks the same but may be designed a bit different. The 705 is a very very good microphone. It was sold up through the introduction of the
