My first guess is propagation...as I type this I see very little noise and almost no signals on many of the bands. I thought my radio was broken but tried another with the same results. Hmmmm.......?

Vic, don't know if Triton one is set up like the 544 Triton, but they have a tendency to develop dirty contacts on the antenna selector slide switch on the back of the radio. Try cycling it back and
