- Hi Don, Some of the likely causes of the RELAY line being grounded all the time are: Relay K1 contacts welded together by some previous accident, C14 or C8 failed in a short circuit mode, Q16 failed

- Don, It sounds like the previous owner put a piece of cardboard under the actuator to keep it from clicking causing the relay to stay in the closed position. Pull the cover off the relay to check it.
