Thank you Bob, The computer is selecting the correct sound card. It does receive properly from the LINE OUT on the read ACC1 of the OMNI VII. I tried setting it to LINE INPUT and upped the gain to 65

The Omni VII does not have low gain. But it seems yours has a defective LINE INPUT. I can run mine at 25% and raising the level up on the computer I get 100 watts of data output, well into ALC range.

The matching of the tubes when purchased assures they will draw approximately the same grid current in the amp. Proper biasing will help assure the cleanest signal for the selected class of service.
