- Verify the fuses with an ohm meter. Verify the AC ON/OFF switch. Make sure power is really getting to the amp by using a volt meter to measure the voltage at the AC switch. Check the transformer lead

- Richards, Set the meter to the lowest OHMs scale (some meters have a "buzzer" or tone on this scale). Connect the probes across the disconnected fuse and you should see a zero or near zero reading. I

- I don't the think the OP in question was actually going to dig into the amp regardless of the outcome of the fuse test but the warnings were definitely called for and "warnings" by their very nature
