Last time I tried this it was 1992, doing my last SS in South Carolina. I
leave the Navy next summer (maybe I'm leaving TN and don't realize it yet!).
Missed WYO, PAC, and VE8/VY1. Never heard PAC or VY1( I heard VY1JA on 3830
after the contest!) and heard the pile-up on Wyoming Saturday nite. I made a
few attempts and quickly gave up. S&P rate was great for first few hours but
then reality set in!! I did have a few short runs and 80M was pretty good
here. Wish I could have been in for full time but had to miss a few hours. It
was FUN!!!! Congrats to K1TR and N0AX for some great QRP scores and thanks to
all who took the time to hear our "little signals"!
