Short Soapbox:
Much improved this year over last. The 4 el wire LPA on 20M really works
well. Everything east was about 2-3 S units higher than on my old 10-15-20M
trapped inverted V. I am going to have to build a wire LPA for 15M as well for
next year. The HF2V on 80M really worked well also.

Missed NNY, DE (as always), SC (always hard for me), and PR (a surprise.) I
would hate to think that some year I would actually get a sweep! Good
participation from Canada this year -- thanks. I found a little opening on
14.152 late Sunday morning and started calling CQ. VY1JA called in on the
first CQ. Jay seems to have knack for that. Got my only PAC at 03:15 UTC Sat
night. KH8/N5OLS was the only signal on 20M at that time. Folks looking for
PAC should remember to check 20M late after everyone has moved to 40/80M.
Since it takes much longer for 40/80M to open up for PAC, they can usually be
found all alone on 20M and easy to work. I caught WP2Z on 20M late Saturday
afternoon without a pileup and worked him on the first call. What a shock.

See everyone down the log. I hope to be at NK7U for NA QSO and CQ 160 SSB
tests early next year.
