QRM:
Woke up late, missed most of the first hour (usually one of
the best).
Tremendous power line noise on all bands (e.g. 160 S9+20).
Despite overall good condx nearly nothing on 10m,
but I got it compensated with some nice runs on 40/80.
On 80m huge EU pileup, still don't know how to handle this
during a contest (avoiding split). Discipline in EU -
not bad except several stations (minority !) not listening
et all and making the life very difficult for all of us.
Missed the goal (4 Mio.) but see at least some progress
compared to the SSB part. Made several stops to hand zone
28 to the eastern US (15,20,40 LP) and Carribean but still
very difficult, most stations didn't recognize me at all.
On the other hand I felt the exitement on the other side
each time I got through.
