Radios 2 X TS - 950SD + Timewave DSP's

10M - Radio #1
No antenna. Called CQ with the 80M dipole, but to no
avail. Worked one local for only QSO.
15M - Radio #1 6L
This was a great band! No QRM, lots of good signals.
20M - Radio #2 6/6
Was a little slow off the bat. Had to stop to check on an antenna
prob=
lem
only a few minutes into the test. By then 20 was just packed with
signal=
s. It
would have been nice to pick out a run freq ahead of time and stay
there=
.
40M- Radio #1 4/4
Started slow, but finally found a freq. and made good use of it.
80M - Radio #2 3L @190ft
What a mess! It started slow, just like 40M. Seems like
the stations further east had already planted themselves on
a good freq and stayed put. By the time we got there, it was
packed from 3800 to 3900. When things cleared up a bit and
propagation got better, Joe proceeded to create a monster
pileup. The pig farmers were out in full force! We were blasted
by machine gun sounds and recordings of our own transmissions.
160M - Radio#1 =BC wave ground plane w/elevated radials
Lots of mults. Can't wait to get the Force 12 rot. dipole up at 190ft!
