I share VY1JA's dismay with the conflict between STEW and Winter RAC. (I
only worked him on 2 of the possible 12 band-modes in RAC). I'm a new
enthusiast on 160, have spent several days this month putting up new
antennas. I elected to go with RAC because it would provide more QSOs,
two radio practice, and less listening to the power line noise. Next
year, assuming my noise problem is resolved, I don't want to make the
choice. I believe the 'senior' contest is RAC. Could SP be moved to the
weekend before XMAS or the first weekend after the new year? I see no
conflict (this year on Dec 21) except for the RTTY roundup - and that
will be a conflict for many also. Too many contests? I guess we should
continue this discussion on CQ-Contest.
Several RAC enthusiasts asked for my band breakdown. Would like to see
the same from N5DO, KO7X, N0AC, K5YAA, and all the larger Canadian
Scores. Here 'tis:
