soap: tried some real 2 radio operating- tuned 2nd radio while cq'ing on
1st. It seems to be more of a distraction than a help- but then I can't
chew gum and walk at the same time! The "new" hightower vertical seems to
work well- was even able to get answers to cq's with it. The first vertical
I ever saw that can compete on 80m. Will look forward to using it in the dx
contests.
This NAQP not nearly as good as last January, or last August. 20m was
short, 10 and 15 seemed to be open but activity was sparce. Low bands were
very noisy here. BIG sig here was from K0RF on all bands.
