K1KY: Wasn't quite prepared for full M/M at the start, but we
pulled it together. Bands were in good shape, especially
10 Meters, where we started out on SSB. Set up on VHF/UHF
with some spare repeater antennas and picked up a mobile
in KY heading to AL, catching several counties on VHF/UHF.
Compliments to our chefs, KF4PPA + KF4PPA/R for preparation
of the Bambi Burgers and Steaks. Tried to activate all bands
and modes. Rain prevented 6 Meter antenna install. A little
excitement when the power went out, but the batteries kept
all stations on the air with no interruption. Let's do
it again next year with more counties active!

K4RO: Glad I finally got to operate some in "our" little contest.
On my way up to Music Mountain I asked K1KY to check 10 meters.
With a flux of 127, A=8 and K=1, I thought 10m might come alive.
It turned out 10 meters was in fine shape, especially the seemingly
bottomless pit of CA and WA (Salmon Run) stations out there.
Never got much going on 15 meters, and 20 was fairly productive,
though somewhat crowded and noisy. 10 meters was the money band.
Had eight (8) QSOs with N6MU. Both modes 10m-40m. Too early to
make it on 80m though. Kind of fun being "chased" all over by
stations seeking the bonus points. Good conditions, good company,
good food and drink, and some fun operating. What more could a
contester ask for? Thanks to Tom and everyone for making it a
real fun day on the mountain.

KF4VOW: More fun than Field Day!

KF4YNI: Wow! Best setup I've ever "seen"! What does this do???

KF4PPA: If you weren't there, you missed it!

 KF4PPA/R: Ditto.
