Spent most of my time hunting partridge and raking leaves .. maybe 10 hrs
on but great rates .. hit 115/hr on 10 meters, surely a good sign for the
coming year .. but a little too soon to be serious about another 48 hour
contest.
I was disappointed at 80 meters until I went to rake the back yard and
found the vertical loop under the leaves .. guess I will need NEC-4 to
model it now ..
Got another PK 900 from N2HOS which worked very well on the second rig ..
Speaking of Jim, I heard him working a notorious "No Ears Roger" and gave
