As I have said before, QRP from a mountaintop is the only way to go.
Once again Wayne's (N6NB) outstanding location has shown what it can
do with modest antennas (nothing larger than 4 elements). I S&Ped the
whole contest. I was hoping for good EU openings on 10 and 15 but all
I got was a fair opening on 15 Sunday morning that lasted about two
hours. I didn't hear one EU on 20! Africa was really tough because
there was always a big pileup that I had no chance of breaking. I
missed a lot of good mults that way. Also, it really gets frustrating
when loud mults CQ in your face with no takers and just can't hear
you. I was having so much fun I only got about six total hours of
sleep. That was OK when I was younger but I'm getting to old for that
stuff now. Oh well... Hope to see everyone in SS (I'll probably be
QRP). 73

John, N6MU
