This year we didn't have enough operators to run multi-single, so we decided to
activate our new vanity call in two single band classes: OH1MDR was on 20, I
took 15. Antennas were doing OK but 500watts was like working with a low power
;=)

Well, propagation was excellent on 15 meters too but it not like in 1989, so I
couldn't break OH record (which is EU record too) of OH6MCW. JAs came only 2
hours both days - "only" JAs 176 in my log. US propagation was superb on
Saturday afternoon, then band was down to be open some hours later in the
evening. On Sunday US pileups were thinner than on Saturday but band never
closed. The final climax was to work 60 and 61 qso hours at 1900 and 2000z plus
to get double multiplier JX7DFA. After JX band started to open to Japan: Work
couple of JA big guns and - what a thrill - V63X through W/JA pileup.

KH7R and KL7Y were 599+ both evenings, also a good solid signal from KH6/AI6V.
Worked 4 KH6s and 3 KL7s. Missed zones 29, 34 and 39 - where were the VK6s?

Congrats to all big scorers, especially 6Y2A - 44 Million from NA - wau!
Actually J6DX and TI1C were MUCH stronger than you here! From USA a big signal
was K8LX - he was even stronger than KC1XX in one point.

73, Timo OH1NOA / OH0NOA
PS: Look for OH1F again in ARRL 10m contest
PS2: Yes, it is OH1F not OH1FO or WH1F or ...
