Comments: Trouble began when our 10m radio, its amp and two backups all
failed just before the start of the contest. After scurrying to
get 10m back on, the conditions didn't hold up enough to get any
real runs going. The same was true for 15 meters the entire time.
Both 20 and 40 surprised us with much better than usual
propagation. Favorable conditions elsewhere hurt us as both NA
and ASIA had their antennas towards Europe. Despite the mediocre
propagation in the Central Pacific, the hard work of the team
managed to set a new Zone 31 M/M record less than 24 hours into
the contest. Thanks to everyone who took the time to work us.
