Soapbox: Thanks to all who particiapted and especially the casual ops who drop
by to
give you a hand. Things started well at the opening bell, but three hours later
it was pretty quiet. Low band accross Canada can be a real challange -
especially in
the highly populated Saskatchewan section :). Packed it in about 06:30Z and
grabbed
some shut-eye. Back at it at 12:30Z and it started slow and then built to a
busy day.
Amazing how may EU, SA and Carb stations dropped by. Our American friends more
than
filled in any slow periods for the balance of the contest. I think Canadian
participation
was lower this year than last. Look forward to doing it all again in the summer
version.
