It's always amazing what a DX contest can do for poor radio
conditions. At the start 10 meters was totally quiet here, but
all that RF had it open by Saturday morning.
Thanks to K9AY for providing the answer to rain static. The
small loops are really effective and they hear as well as some
good transmitting antennas.
Thanks to our JA friends for 808 QSOs in the test. It would be
pretty slow on the west coast without them. Also thanks to 11
stations for 6 band QSOs. HC8N, JA7YAA, JH5FXP, KH6X, NH7A,
P40W, V26O, VR2BG, XA5T, ZF2NT and 6D2X.
