When is a 40 metre dipole not a 40 metre dipole?
When it is a 6 metre centre-fed 7-half waves long wire.
The new IC-706 put about 40 W into this antenna to introduce me to 6 metres.
A lot of fun. Now to build a beam. Nice spread of grids even if activity was
not very high.
Grids worked: DM98, EL86, EL87, EL96, EN93, FN03, FN04, FN12, FN13, FN14,
FN43 and FN65 spread from Kansas to Florida to New Brunswick.
