Three stations set up, two with operators much of the time. Not on the air
between 11pm and
6am each night. Had fun, but prefer the CW weekend! Found out how much
smoke was bottled up in an Alpha86 amplifier when the plate choke failed
during a nice 10m run on 28900. House still has a distinctive smell...
Getting over a bad cold, voice was marginal, cough was annoying - actually
felt better after the contest than beforehand (a certain sign I didn't work
too hard!). Glad to have some guest ops!
