UA1ACJ, AB6BH, K6JL, N6AA, N6ZZ, W6NV.
This operation was a bit more complex than many that our group has
been involved with since it required tents, furnaces to heat the tents,
a supply of wood to fuel the furnaces, generators, fuel for the
generators,
living on a boat for 8 days, and food/drink for 15 people for that
period
of time....along with towers/masts, antennas, radios, and computers.
It felt like a field day operation, with the added challenges of sailing
to
an uninhabited island and temperatures slightly above freezing most of
the
time.
All things considered, we were successful in getting into the logs of a
few
stations, and managed to pull off the operation without anybody getting
hurt or sick.
