Almost didn't make this one for my 3rd year. Everything fell in
place at the last minute and was able to replace my waterlogged
Carolina Windom 160 on Thursday with an inverted vee from the same
mount at 130'. Legs are about 4' too long but the tuner brought it
in quite nicely. Also sporting a new Folded Unipole, but the Vee
beat it out most of the time. Friday night noise pretty bad here
and I didn't even bother looking for DX. Physically gave out early
Saturday morning and took a nap.. got up in time for sunrise to hear
both VK's rolling in S-8 peaks but unable to break the
piles with low power. Re-strung the North beverage Saturday afternoon
and was able to get the 2nd radio listening S&P while CQ'ing on the
main rig. Results down 119 Q's and 8 mults from last year's effort.
Am going to give up operations in the coming ARRL 10m contest so
I can get things ready for the Stew Perry TBDC and a few XMAS parties.

At 15:40 Sunday: K9NR K8ND AA8U W8JI KE9I and WB9Z (15:42) heard.

Happy Holidays to all!
