Thanks to Keko TI5KD for the use of his fine station again this year and
to Sofia TI2IY for the fuel to keep going and the fine hospitality.
Rig: TS940S @ 5w, 4 el quad 10m, 2 el quad 15 and 20, KT34XA, 4 el 20
and 5 el 15 fixed on USA, 2 el 40.
Last year I beat the NA record by not by enough to hold up after the
log checking. This year it may hold with 500K to spare. Condx much
better on 10m this year. Last year I lost an hour at a good rate time
due to a power outage. This year we had a generator ready to go and of
course didn't need it. I think there is a Murphy's law that covers that.
Working the CW pileups from TE6U the previous week was a good warm up
before the contest.
