It seems 6 meters has been very good to us every
other year. This year we managed another 1100 QSO
effort on the magic band. It was great to hear more
HF contest callsigns showing up on the band.
The conditions were good form the start and K5NA
racked up two 100+ plus hours on the band. Our mult
total was quite good as the band was open in many
directions at one time. On sunday we worked EH8BPX
and a KP4. I kept hearing guys working KP2A but I
could never hear him.
I did very little operating during the first day because
I stayed up all night setting up the stationg and
debugging and fixing all sorts of little problems.
A big thanks to all the rovers - they really helped our
high band QSO and mult totals by activating grids that
have low or no VHF/UHF stations.
KE5C did a great job of keeping after the
rovers on 222 and 432 - thanks John.
And once again thanks to Bryan for letting us play
on the radios and for doing most of the 2m operating
so the rest of us don't have to. :-)
And now the numbers.
