NA QSO Party 2000
Soapbox:
Here north of the 50th parallel the contest ended at 20:00z and did not
resume until 02:00z. Worst solar storm I have experienced to-date and I
hope not to experience any worse than this. Not a signal on the band for 6
hours. The rest of the 6 hour contest window was a little better, but not
by much.
The only person happy with this turn of events was my wife who enlisted my
assistance in building the west side of the fence when she saw the rate I
was working at.
Thanks to those who did get in the log! Thanks to NCJ for sponsoring the
test!
Lets hope the sun gods leave us alone for the rest of the year :)
