Comments:

the first time I went to 40m the band was kinda dead and the swr was high. 
Stuck my head out the back door and saw the e-w 40m dipole laying in a heap. 
The south end 1/8" nylon haul cord had been neatly cut about 30' up. Damn
squirrels!  These cascade mountain grays just don't like string in their
ponderosas.  Thirty minutes later I put back the bow and arrow and resumed
operation.  Glad I didn't have to do it the dark.
Thanks to K0DE for my only contact on 10m.  He was the only one I heard in
several attempts.
