Greate contest! I mean saturday..
Having 1400+ contacts in my contest log with 65% DX contacts for the
first day of operation I really anticipated to replace the holder of
the previous zone 16 record for 10 m - 2168 QSOs in 1990.
Finally - 50%-DX, 50% -EU.
The most memorable QSO with W4ZV after 3 (!!!) hours the band became
copletely dead late in the sunday evening - he was only one on all the
10 m band calling CQ contest continiously with nobody in Europe
listening to ten! His signal was loud and clear .. Nobody in USA has
answered my long CQ too. Where are you - the BIG GUN contesters ?
