Amazed at performance of Hustler 5BTV on 80 meters, simply amazed- Only had a
few radials on it- must have been the saturated earth in northern France-
eiether way, I was working a lot of stateside with it the week up to the
contest and in the pile ups during-
With no filters on a 9 year old TS140S, 100 watts and a Hulter 5BTV centered in
a small french village- this was a fun contest in between visits to family
friends and meeting all the new relatives. 80 meters from EU is another world-
K0RF had a killer signal on 15 meters, huge compared to even the east coast big
guns- KC1XX was the loudest on 80 meters- 73 Paul F/N0AH
