Comments:
Quite a step down from last year's 3449/150, which was good enough for 4th
place SSB. I think the captive audience of USA Tech+ licensees has upgraded and
moved to greener pastures.
The EU opening was marginal on both days, with hardly any (only 3 or 4)
Eastern EU at all. Propagation to Eastern EU is not supported from the Western
USA, regardless of sunspot number, at this time of year on 10M.
There sure were some crappy, wide signals from the heartland of the USA this
time. Sounded like fugutive amps from the freeband, but with well-known
callsigns. If anyone else noticed this, I'd like to compare notes in private.
It was all great fun, regardless of condx though. 10M is a fun band.
Happy Holidays to all. See you in the January NAQP's, which I think are the
best contests of the year. 73
