Comments:
First, I have to thank each sttn I contacted during this contest for taking
the time to pull my weak signal out of the QRM.
I missed NU in both modes and worked YT on phone only 22 minutes before the
end of the contest.
This is an exciting contest, every year gets better, and this time I managed
to beat my 1999 score even though I spent quite some time explaining my
children how
this works.
Because of my vertical antenna I suffered very heavy QRM from south of the
border especially on Saturday night, hopefully I will have a real antenna
(i.e. a beam) before the next contest (Canada Day for sure, but BERU would
be nice), a small amp would be nice too, not to mention a shorter callsign.
First time using PC logging on a contest I had to do something wrong... I
logged a phone QSO in the CW log and when I
tried to correct it I screwed up the CW file and finally ended up doing the
scoring manually, at least I did not loose any data... I believe.
I am not sure about changing the date, I can think of a number of things in
favour and a similar number against.
