Comments:
First night propagation, while not starting out strong, turned out quite good.
A total of 211 European, 2 Asian, and 3 African stations were worked. The
second night propagation east was not too hot- only 39 Europeans and no
Africans or Asians were worked. First night, European runs were fairly easy to
come by- the second night, we listened to stations in NC and OH work Europeans
that we couldn't even hear.
Just like the article in CQ Mag for Feb, we worked VK6VZ for our longest DX at
1137Z Sat AM, and Steve was S5 again on Sunday morning.
The alligator award has to go to V73CW. For about an hour Sunday morning
(1000-1100Z) he was S6 into Massachusetts, but I couldn't even get a QRZ? out
of him. He must have had 30 different stations calling him from the East
Coast, but he kept CQing without answering anyone. I'm glad I didn't have to
deal with his noise level.
Thanks for the Qs.
