Comments:
My new wire 40 meter four square worked well ! Also a new full size 80
meter vertical. I'm still trying to make the top ten from my small lot
(antennas in the back yard, about 50x100 feet). I have one 56 foot tower plus
wires. Conditions on the high bands seemed down from last year, but the low
bands were hot. I think I had less high rate hours on the high bands than last
year. From looking at WWV after the contest I see that the flux was down, but
the A and K were also quite low. D68C and 9M6V called me on two bands, also
JX7DFA and EX8W on 40 ! Nice to work all my DX contesting friends once again !
