Comments:
Low band condx poor, especially 160, compared to CW weekend.
10 Meter activity was great!
Wanted to operate SO2R but 2nd amp caused packet node to reboot every time
I spoke into the mic! Had to abandon 2nd rig 10 minutes into the contest.
Packet node had additional problems and had to troubleshoot for a couple
hours Saturday morning. Overslept Sunday, dropping operating time to
36 hours.
Run rates were great on 20M @ EU sunrise Saturday and on 10M Saturday and
Sunday
mornings.
My new 500 ft EU and 275 ft E-W Beverages worked very well!!
Internet packet spots were useless and the Busted spots were well above
average due partially to casual operators putting out spots that arrived
on packet from the Internet. Let's discuss this aspect of SO(A) at Dayton.
It was very much FUN, even though it was a phone contest.

Bill, N3RR
