Comments:
Diane K2DO and I decided to go back to our roots and hold a "casual"
multi-operator effort here at our home. We invited members of our local radio
club over to participate. Our goal was to get some of the members who showed
an interest in contesting on the air. We demonstrated computer logging, search
and pounce techniques, how to run with a low power station and general
contesting strategies.
We had invited even more people but in the end, we were satisfied with our
efforts at elmering and getting members interested.
After major efforts in CQ WW and ARRL DX, it was nice to be able to enjoy a
"low key" operation and give others a chance to operate.
CU all again as WV2LI in the WPX CW in May from my home station as SOAB LP.
