    6: 166 x 76
    2: 92 x 35
Total: 258 x 111

Claimed score = 28,638

Location: EM78fc, near Louisville, KY

Equipment:
IC-746 barefoot (100 W out on 6 and 2)
7 el at 104 ft for 6
13 el at 96 ft for 2

Very interesting propagation! Brief 6-meter double hop to W7 at the
start. Started hearing signs of aurora around 2215Z, and managed a few AU
QSOs on 2, but it was clear that I was just a bit too far south to get
much action. N0UK was loud for nearly an hour on 2, but I couldn't get
his attention with my peanut whistle signal. My last AU QSO was at 2333Z
on 6 CW with N0QJM in EN13.

After that, not much excitement until nearly 0500Z (1 a.m. local), when 6
opened to W1/W2/VE1. Amazing to hear that VERY late opening last more
than three hours--until well after 4 a.m. local time (!), with a few more
bursts of double hop to W7. As others have said, it's too bad this
opening came so late; I'm sure lots of folks missed it.

Sunday was good for another long W1/VE1/VE9/W2/W3 opening on 6, with one
European QSO--EH7GTF at 1536Z. I thought I heard a wisp of an F6 station,
and I was hoping for a big European opening, but I guess the clouds never
quite lined up.

It was great to have some long runs to the East Coast, but my mult totals
were down from recent years, with almost no openings to the southeast or
southwest.

A BIG congrats to N6TR at K7RAT for logging 13 Europeans from practically
the other side of the planet! That's simply AMAZING!
