Just playing - wanted to work W1AW/6 on 5 bands, had to settle for 5.
Got on to try and learn some of the controls on the new transceiver...
they felt good but I am still on the learning curve...the 250 Hz filter
way WAY too sharp for contesting.
Beginning of contest condx stank from FL, went to bed after second hour,
wasn't until Saturday evening that things got hot...
40 and 80 meter antennas broken, used the K3LR SS dipole for forty to
work some juicy stuff on Sunday AM gray line. Fortunately 15 and 20 were
hot during the night...what happened to 28MHz?
