Hello to all from North-central Maine -- north of Bangor, west of St. Johns,
N.B. We just moved up here this past July. Finally got around to setting up
some antennas and getting a station on the air. Turned on the rig for the very
first time Sunday afternoon @ 2100Z and worked an hour of the contest. Very
nice! I always wondered what VO1MP was hearing. Now I know! There's a lot to
be said for LP S&P. I look forward to many more contests from the "Maine
Highlands" as the tourist literature calls our region.
