TRLog 6.58 (on W98) coupled to a WX0B SO2R box
FT1000MP
TS570S
WX0B 2x6 Sixpack Antenna Switch controlled by 2 TOPTEN Band decoders
WX0B Stackmatch
TopTen Relay Box

Antennas:
5 el 10m/5 el 15m Force 12 Magnum on 44ft boom @ 75ft
80m Force 12 Rotatable dipole (upgraded with end T sections) @ 67ft
3 el 40m/5 el 20m Force 12 Magnum on a 36' boom @ 60ft
80m inverted V @ 56 ft
160m inverted V @ 53 ft
Sidemounted C4XL Force 12 @ 33ft pointed towards NA
Sidemounted C3++ Force 12 @ 18ft
Force 12 Sigma 10,15,20m Vertical Antenna

No beverages were used this time, since my phylosof on this one was that if I
could hear the station on the antennas, they should be abe to hear me with 5
Watts. Also it rained quite a bit for Aruba standards ( 1/4 ") the days before
the contest, so most of the power line nose was negligeable during the weekend.

In the weeks before the contest, I spent time upgrading my shack for SO2R
operation by installing WX0B SO2R box & Sixpack and putting the 2 radio's in
cockpit style around the single 17" computer monitor. Made sure everything was
within hand reach and all esential controls were always in plain view or reach.
Using 2 radios made QRP a joy to operate. Will definitelly do a longer write-up
and include some pictures of this experience in near future.

Conditions were fantastic and most of the 10m operations were done using the
lowest antenna on the 60ft tower.
The Force 12 C3++ (the double +'s are for the 2 extra 10m elements) at 18ft
performed exceptionally well during this part of the solar cycle, where lot's
of incoming signals were 59+50 to 60dB on the FT1000MP.

The TRLog 2 radio integration performed flawlessly and all radio switching
operations could be done directly from the keyboard. In the beginning it took
me a little to get used to this 2 radio stuff, which caused some funny moments
at certain times, but after a while it all became 2nd nature. Switching radios
could be done via footswitch or keyboard depending what mode I was in or how I
set TRLog do use the footswitch. I could also change the setting of the
foorswich on the fly to do the dupe checks on the 2nd radio, since depending
band conditions, at certain moments I would S&P 2 bands at the same time, while
at others I would be CQ'ing on one one radio and S&P on the other.

A couple of small problems surfaced during the contest.

First minor one started really started from the beginning of the contest, for
which I had to do some quick troubleshooting and fixing to get it solved. It
wasn't untill about 02:37z that I could "really" start. Talking about losing
prime operating time.

Also the rotor on the sidemounted C3++ got stuck pointing towards the West the
on Saturday evening before I took a long rest, so when 10m conditions opened up
on Sunday morning, I had to climb the tower and give my main 10m antenna a
little push in the right direction so I could get it pointing towards EU.
Luckily the rotor cooperated for the rest of the contest, even though it still
got stuck a few more times after that, but I still managed to get it turning
every time without having to resort having to go up the tower again.

Thanks for the q's and special thanks for those who qsy'd when requested.
