I almost didn't go this year, which would have been a really dumb decision.

Total operating time was 41.9 hours; therefore my average rate was 130 QSOs /
hour. As the following table shows, my best QSO rate was 182 / hour. However,
my highest QSO point rate was 501 / hour. Note that these numbers exclude the
184 duplicate contacts that I logged. I calculate that a multiplier was worth,
on average, about 10.5 QSOs. I worked 90 multipliers as a result of band
sweeps and 44 multipliers via moves.

North America CW 23 167 360 513 484 429 1976 35.0
South America CW 5 7 13 10 16 9 60 1.1
Europe CW 0 92 498 610 785 1334 3319 58.8
Asia CW 0 0 17 40 93 61 211 3.7
Africa CW 1 5 8 13 13 14 54 1.0
Oceania CW 0 0 2 13 6 5 26 0.5

I'm generally pleased that 65% of the contacts were 3 pointers, which exceeded
my original goal.

Congratulations to P40W on a new World Record and to 8P2A for an outstanding
job from another 2 point location!

Special thanks to Sam WT3Q, Brian N3OC and Doug W3CF for their help with the
station and arrangements and accommodations on Antigua.
