Japanese WWII Hand Key (see picture: http://www.nwlink.com/~desk/key.jpg,

Decided this being my 42nd SS CW that I would see what its like to
replicate my 1959 SS CW which resulted in
75 QSOs, all with a hand key. Just last summer found this Japanese hand
key, marked ATTU ISLAND, ALASKA on the bottom, and decided to give it a go
in SS. Want to apologize to all who had to endure the hand key relearning
curve, and my Puget Sound swing at a scintilating 10 wpm speed, but, all in
all... great fun!! Sorry if it slowed down anyones run, but I could swear
I heard laughter in some of the replys!
6 hours on a hand key and a terrific WORLD SERIES finish made this a
weekend to remember.
