Full-bore migraine headache after 14+ hours ended my weekend. Obviously, the
numbers show that my ability to contest was really suffering as the headache
established itself in the few hours before I had to quit. Disappointment is an
understatement, as this was my first try at a SSB contest. Condx seemed to be
rocking, too, so a double bummer for sure. Topband sure was fun, though.
Look forward to trying the SOAB(A)-thing again next year. Thx to Roger VE3ZI
for allowing me to abuse his equipment once again; it's amazing how really LOUD
you feel operating from his QTH.
