Comments:
This contest sure gets better when the sun goes down.
Had difficulty finding a place to CQ on 40. And there were
a lot of people telling stories here who I never heard. So
I'd say this contest is becoming a major league affair.
The 100w is definitely a big leveler. Got beat out many
times on all bands. And it is also possible to squeeze more
people in the same spectrum space.
Had quite a few little nagging station problems, but managed to
get most of them nailed down uncomfortably close to the
contest start. Propagation was obviously quite good. The guys
from the south were hanging in very late on 10m. Almost anything
was possible on scatter.
Disappointed to never hear a peep out of MT, VT, SD or NE. Heard ZF2NT
calling a few people, but never snagged him. No NA DX outside of
XE2MX. But lotsa TX and CA! And how about those VE5's?
See you next year in this one, for sure.
