KT34A Triband Yagi at 40 feet.

Alpha-Delta DX-A 160/80/40 Sloper with Apex at 35 feet.

I think this is first time I have ever operated the NAQP CW contest. It is
also definitely the first time I have ever tried operating two radios. I
bought ten dollars worth of adapters on Friday from Radio Shack to hear the
TS-850 in the left ear while hearing the IC-775DSP in the right side of the
headphones. It really took some time getting used to this especially when I
found out I could not turn off the side tone on the TS850 when transmitting.
Luckily, the TS-850 volume control is on the right side of the rig while the
IC-775DSP is on the left side of the rig.

Steve K0OU, forgot to mention in his NAQP report that he had to deal with QRM
from me besides rolling around his front yard fighting with his neighbor over
TVI problems. Steve and I only live 2 blocks apart and were fighting each
other for position on the band all day. I hope that he did not hurt that poor
lady next door to him. Hi Hi

At 02:15z, WT9U asked me QSY from 80, to 40, and then to 10 meters. I was very
surprised that I copied him on 10 meters since I thought the band was closed
and I am on the Kansas City side of Missouri.

Thanks to everyone who put up with my pathetic cw copying of names. I really
need to practice cw more often and not just during contests. I especially want
to apologize to ED for having him repeat his name over and over again. .-..
.-.. What! Who has the name "L"? Then finally it clicked, ED ED. I think
the dain bramage light was beginning to flash at that point during the contest.

Best Regards,
Dave KG0US
