Better conditions this time around..noise was way down but lots of qsb and qrm.
Had a new computer system thanks to W0DET,Don Taylor who came down to help me
set it up and it worked well except for operator error, meaning ME HI. Using
WriteLog and not totally use to its way of doing things..
Had a new receive antenna that I got but due to illness didnt get it up. Maybe
next time.
Sorry to those I could not hear..I have BCI and it comes on and the noise floor
goes up..When a station is in the noise its just impossible for me to get them.
Station is Ft1000D, antenna is sloping 1/4 wire from about 90ft. Sloping to JA,
no beverages or other receive antenna yet.
Thanks to all the FB ops for working me and to the GMCC gang that came on
also..Had fun for the limited amount of time I could operate..See ya in the
